Ammons To Lead Audacy/Kansas City:
Cumulus/Indianapolis OM JR Ammons will join Audacy/Kansas City as OM for the four-station cluster and Country WDAF & Top 40 KZPT Brand Mgr. Feb. 1. He succeeds Country Radio Hall of Famer Mike Kennedy, who retired Dec. 17 after more than two years with the group (Breaking News 11/8/21). “[JR’s] extensive background operating multiple stations will position him for success, and we look forward to working alongside him in this next chapter of his career,” says SVP/MM Roxanne Marati. It is a return to the market for Ammons, who spent time with crosstown Steel City Top 40 KMXV in addition to stops in Atlanta and Jacksonville, FL.
