WJKR/Columbus Goes Country: North American Broadcasting Adult Hits WJKR/Columbus, OH flipped to Country at 11am CT as "Country 103.9." The move comes four months after veteran Country programmer John Crenshaw took over as OM for the cluster (CAT 12/20/21), which is now in a format battle with crosstown iHeartMedia WCOL. Crenshaw programmed 'COL from Sept. 2001 until Dec. 2012 (CAT 12/6/12). No word on staff. WCOL is frequently one of the highest rated Country stations among PPM markets; it finished fifth with a 6.7 share in the February survey (CAT 3/23); WJKR is not a Nielsen subscriber.
