Chronicle: Country Radio Hall of Famer & iHeartMedia KMJX/Little Rock morning host Bob Robbins passed away this morning (5/21) in Arkansas. He was 78. Born Robert Spears May 16, 1944, Robbins was heard daily on-air in Arkansas beginning in 1967, when he started his career at Top 40 KAAY/Little Rock. He spent 34 years with Country KSSN before segueing to Classic Country KMJX in 2013 (CAT 11/18/13). He is slated to receive the Arkansas Country Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award at a June 6 ceremony in Conway. Robbins told his story to Country Aircheck ahead of his 2008 CRHoF induction; read it here. No word on arrangements.
