WCOW's Burns-Gilbert To Retire: Sparta-Tomah WCOW/Sparta, WI midday personality Mike Burns-Gilbert will retire Aug. 15 after more than 45 years in radio. He spent the majority of his career at WCOW with two stints beginning in the 1980s, a short departure in the '90s, and additional time at WFRL/Freeport, IL and WTMB/La Crosse, WI.
