Like Frogger, Like Son: Seven Mountains Top 40 WPQP & WQQP/DuBois, PA PD/afternoon host Sean "Chewy" Medek has been named morning co-host at Audacy WGGY/Wilkes Barre effective Aug. 22. The move pairs him with his father Ken "Doc" Medek who has helmed the daypart solo since the departure of Jessie Roberts (a.k.a. Tanya Burko Krieger) in June (CAT 6/29). "This new father and son dynamic will have no shortage of entertaining content," says PD Michael O'Donnell. The younger Medek has also been remotely handling weekend hosting duties at WGGY sister Top 40 WKRZ; prior to joining WPQP & WQQP last year, he spent two years in afternoons at Top 40 WBHV/State College, PA.
