Life Note:
Country Aircheck Managing Editor Caitlin DeForest is mourning the passing of her grandmother, Dorothy Jean “Dot” Norrell, who passed away Monday (11/21) at the age of 87. “She filled the shoes of both parents, raising me on her own in what should have been her retirement years,” shares DeForest. “I’m so very grateful for her selflessness, love, and support and will miss her every day.” Visitation will be held Nov. 25 from 12-2pm CT at Burt Chapel (2100 Gault Avenue North, Fort Payne, AL 35967) with services immediately following. Burial will take place the same day at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Fort Payne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital here.
