Bagels And Foxx:
“[John] is well known, respected and liked by his colleagues in our building, which will make the transition smooth and seamless,” says Audacy/New York Market Pres. Chris Oliviero of John Foxx, who moves from Audacy Regional VP/Country & KILT/Houston Brand Mgr. to his new role as Classic Hits sister WCBS/New York Brand Mgr./morning host. “John also has big feet, which will come in handy, as he has some of the biggest shoes to fill in radio history, both as morning host and Brand Mgr.” As reported via Breaking News, Foxx succeeds outgoing Brand Mgr. Jim Ryan and retiring morning man Scott Shannon. He will continue in Country with a role as Brand Mgr. for WXBK-HD2/New York and reports to Oliviero. Foxx was named to his most recent post in January (CAT 1/12). He joined then-Entercom in 2009 and previously served two terms as Country WNSH/New York PD (CAT 1/4/16) prior to the station dropping the format last year (CAT 10/22/21). Reach Foxx here.
Gig Alert: At KILT, the search is underway for a successor. See the complete job posting and apply here.
