Delta Drawn: Delta Media/Lafayette, LA VP/GM Chuck Wood, who oversees the cluster that includes Classic Country KOGM, is stepping down Feb. 28 after 44 years in the business and 11 with the company. DOS Johnette Cochran will succeed Wood. “I hired Johnette as our DOS two years ago, and within six months told ownership she is my replacement,” says Wood. “I am looking forward to spending more time with family and my golf clubs.” Wood will consult with Delta Media following his retirement. Cochran has been with the cluster since 2021 (CAT 5/3/21) following time with Adams/Salisbury, MD and stops at Townsquare, Alpha and Guaranty. Reach her here.
