President Company Included: Midwest Communications SVP Peter Tanz has been named Pres. succeeding late Founder Duke Wright (Chronicle 12/28/22). A 37-year company veteran, Tanz joined the sales department at WIXX/Green Bay in 1985, rising through the ranks before being named to his most recent post in 2016. “Peter has worked with and learned the business of broadcasting from Duke for [more than] 35 years,” says Board Chair Pegge Wright. “He is well respected throughout our company and is the best choice to lead Midwest to future success the way Duke wanted.” Tanz will now oversee operations of Midwest’s 81 radio stations in nine states.
