Michaels Named TopNotch President:
Curb VP/Promotion Adrian Michaels has been named President of TopNotch Entertainment, an entertainment asset organization that includes TopNotch Records and the company's management, guiding and counseling of lead singers for numerous bands. "We are quite pleased to have the vibrant intellectual talents of Adrian Michaels on our team in the current fast-paced entertainment environment," says TopNotch Chairman/CEO/Founder Vincent M. Wolanin.
"I believe the future of entertainment companies lies in the ability to benefit from multiple revenue streams, while concentrating on a small base of core artists," Michaels commented. "A company where the artist comes first and success follows. TopNotch Entertainment embodies all those traits. I am very proud to be named President of such a great company. I want to thank Mike Curb for giving me the opportunity to work with a world class company for the past 10 years. I will especially miss the team that I have assembled at Curb Records and our artists. I am very proud of everything we have accomplished together." Michaels starts his new role Jan. 14 and will continue to be based in Nashville, while also working out of New York and Florida; congratulate him here. No word yet on his successor at Curb.
