Nixon Kicks In:
Recently resigned iHeartMedia WNCB/Raleigh & WTQR/Greensboro PD Todd Nixon will join Steel City's KBEQ/Kansas City as PD next week, succeeding Mike Kennedy, who retired at year's end (CAT 9/28). "So thankful to the Frischling family and VP/GM Marc Harrell for believing in me," Nixon says. "And of course Mike Kennedy, who made KBEQ legendary, built on a passion for country music, its listeners and an amazing staff. I am proud to get to carry the torch forward!" Nixon's career spans 22 years and includes stops in Fort Myers, Houston and Shreveport, LA.
