The station is owned by Gustavo Alonzo Cortez Montiel, but operations have been taken over by Radio United, which operates three other stations in the market. This puts XHBK, which is licensed for 10,000 watts, in competition with Guerra KRRG, which operates with 100kw and was tied for 3rd with a 9.4 share in the Spring 2022 Nielsen ratings (CAT 8/9/22).
