Frog-get Me Not:
Townsquare WFRG/Utica, NY Content Dir./Brand Mgr./morning co-host Bill McAdams (a.k.a. “Tad Pole”) is retiring after 43 years in the industry and 15 with the station. Cayuga Radio Group/Ithaca, NY news anchor/reporter Carl Neff will succeed him in mornings, joining incumbent Polly Wogg. McAdams started with WFRG in 2007 following time with KSED/Flagstaff-Prescott, AZ and stops in Murray, KY; Lima, OH; Watertown, NY; and Paris, IL (CAT 5/29/07). “Along the way, Bill has touched more lives than he realizes,” writes morning co-host and wife "Polly Wogg" McAdams in a station blog here. It is a return to the station for Neff, who previously interned and worked as a part-time on-air talent with the cluster in 2018. His prior stops include Oswego, NY. McAdams remains onboard to train Neff as the search for his successor in the Brand Mgr. role begins. Reach McAdams here and Neff here. Candidates interested in the WFRG job can see the complete job description and application here; send résumés and airchecks here.
