Recording Academy/MusiCares Launch Wildfire Fund
Cease Fire: The Recording Academy and MusiCares have launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort to support music professionals impacted by this week's area wildfires, making a combined pledge of $1 million to kick off the effort. "The music community is being so severely impacted, but we will come together as an industry to support one another," said Recording Academy and MusiCares CEO Harvey Mason Jr. Donate to the fund here. ACM Lifting Lives is also encouraging those in the industry affected by the fires to reach out for financial aid or mental health support through its Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund here.
The Irving Azoff Family, Live Nation and AEG are producing benefit concert FIREAID Jan. 31 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood. Proceeds will focus on rebuilding infrastructure, supporting those displaced and advancing fire protection strategies. Info signup here.
