Boon Over Georgia: Flinn Top 40 WHBQ/Memphis Dir./Social Media and morning host CJ Lusk has joined Cumulus' WKHX/Atlanta for middays, succeeding Jenn Hobby, who departed in November (CAT 11/23). "CJ's style is genuine, authentic and highly engaging on the air and in person," says Corporate PD and 'KHX PD Scott Lindy. "He's a perfect fit for what Atlanta's country music fans expect from Kicks 101.5." Adds Lusk, "A million thank-yous go out to [EVP/Content & Programming] Mike McVay, [Corporate SVP] Jeff Brown, [VP/MM] Sean Shannon and the entire Cumulus Atlanta team. Amazing things are on the horizon for Cumulus and I'm grateful to become a part of our future." Lusk's prior stops include Top 40 KBFF/Portland and Top 40 WIBT/Charlotte (now WHQC). Reach him here.
