California Beamin': Clear Channel KTGX/Tulsa and sister Top 40 KTBT PD JJ Ryan has been named PD/afternoon personality for the company's new KHLX (B92.5)/Sacramento (CAT 1/10). He's handling programming from Tulsa until the end of the month; he starts on the air Feb. 3. "Leaving Tulsa is bittersweet," says Ryan. "It's one of the best teams I've had the pleasure of working with, so leaving them was a tough one. I'm honored that Clay Hunnicutt, Brad Hardin, Ken Charles and the rest of the CCM+E family asked me to be the one who leads the new B92.5 to success, though."
