Summit's Case To Depart: Summit/Wichita, KS OM and KFDI PD/midday host Justin Case will depart Feb. 14. "Dad turns 88 in a couple of weeks; he's an only child, as am I," Case tells Country Aircheck. "This makes it possible to help out and be present with family. It is scary to step aside, but I'm content with the decision. I appreciate the support from Randy Chase and everyone at SummitMedia." Case joined then-Journal KFDI in Oct. 2012 (CAT 9/18/12). His 34-year career in Country radio includes PD stops at WDSY/Pittsburgh, WYRK/Buffalo, WUSN/Chicago, WWYZ/Hartford and WZZK/Birmingham. Reach him here.

The search for Case's successor is on. "This opening is for a proven, strategic programmer who loves music, is passionate about radio, and is an excellent executor," states the job posting, which can be seen here.
