Minglehood Hall:
An all-star cast of Nashville-based Grammy nominees mixed genres over mixed drinks during last night's 2011 Grammy Nominee Party (1/18). Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Gretchen Wilson, Chris Young, the Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, David Nail were among those hob-noming with the Del McCoury Band, Daily & Vincent and Ricky Skaggs, as well as Paramore, the Black Keys' Patrick Carney and the Kings of Leon's Nathan and Jared Followill. "All the great music that's coming out of Nashville in every kind of genre is really exciting," LBT's Jimi Westbrook said. "It's about time that everybody notices what's going on here." While on the red carpet, the Band Perry's Kimberly Perry thanked Country radio for popularizing their nominated hit "If I Die Young." "To actually say 'Grammy-nominated' and the 'Band Perry' in the same sentence is a dream come true," Kimberly said. "We never thought we would hear that." See pics from the event here. The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards air live Feb. 13 at 8pm ET on CBS-TV.
