KYSM's Blais Leaves: Alpha KYSM/Mankato, MN Dir./Content & Promotions and morning co-host Jessica “Jess” Blais has left for an opportunity outside of radio. Host George Blais remains in mornings solo. “Waking you up every morning for the last 11 years and working side-by-side with my husband, George, has been so wonderful,” Blais shares via the station Facebook page here. “I am so excited for this new opportunity, and while you won’t hear me every day, I’m still making George take me to every concert.” Blais began her career with Sparta-Tomah Broadcasting in 2004 before segueing to then-Three Eagles in 2007. She has served in her most recent post since Feb. 2011 and stayed on after the station was purchased by Alpha in 2016.
