Chronicle: Industry veteran and Krantz Media Group (KMG) Pres./CEO Gary Krantz died Jan. 21 at the age of 65. A memorial service has been set for Jan. 26 at 2:30 pm at Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York City. Krantz launched consultancy KMG in 2010 (CAT 4/21/10) after time in executive roles at Westwood One, Premiere, Air America, AMFM and MJI Broadcasting. He has also served as CRB Board President. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his memory.
