The Tie That Bynes: iHeartMedia/Texas Area Pres. Spencer Bynes has been named Metro Pres./Atlanta, which includes Country WUBL, effective Feb. 1. He fills the position vacated by Drew Lauter last October (CAT 10/14/22). "Spencer has done a superb job in his leadership role in Texas, where he drove positive changes in culture and performance,” says Division Pres. Kim Guthrie. “In addition, his talents on how best to recruit, develop and coach a leadership team make him a wonderful fit for our needs here in Atlanta.” Bynes started in his previous position in 2021 (CAT 6/3/21). His previous stops include Dir./Talent Management & Talent Acquistion for iHeart and Mgr./Talent Acquisition for Coca-Cola North America in Atlanta. No word on plans for the Texas position.
