Venue-palooza: The new Nashville bar and venue partnership between Luke Combs and Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) has a name: Category 10, inspired by Combs' 2016 hit "Hurricane." Announced last spring (CAT 4/13/23), the 3,000-person capacity venue will occupy and expand OEG's former Wildhorse Saloon space, and is set to open this summer. In other downtown Nashville news, Southwest Value Partners and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) will open a 4,500-person capacity Nashville Yards entertainment venue called The Pinnacle. Named for title sponsor and future Nashville Yards tenant Pinnacle Financial Services, the 88,000-square-foot indoor venue is expected to open in early 2025.
