A KUPL Of Things: Alpha KUPL/Portland, OR 12pm-3pm host Jake Byron returned to the air yesterday (1/29) following a cancer diagnosis last month (CAT 12/4/23). Byron, who will celebrate his 20th anniversary with the station in April, shared on Instagram, "I felt the power of this audience focused on me ... it was completely overwhelming." Concurrently, Brooks, who had been covering the shift, moves to 8pm-midnight. That shift was being voicetracked by Mark "TicTak" Allen, who will continue to contribute to the station.
