The Country Radio Hall of Fame revealed its next inductees during CRS 2018 Opening Ceremonies this afternoon. These nine honorees will be celebrated and inducted later this year.

Hall Of Fame Class Of 2018: In the Radio category:

  • The late Curtis/Raleigh VP/Programming and longstanding WQDR programmer Lisa McKay Blake; and
  • Albright & O'Malley & Brenner's Michael O'Malley.

In the On-Air category:

  • KKNU/Eugene's Barrett, Fox & Berry's Bill Barrett, Tim Fox and Tracy Berry;
  • Former WIVK/Knoxville's Andy & Alison's Andy Ritchie and Alison Mencer; and
  • Former KPLX/Dallas' Harmon & Evans' Steve Harmon and Scott Evans.

O'Malley began consulting Country radio stations in 1992, leading to the formation of A&O&B, with Jaye Albright and later, Becky Brenner. Prior to consulting, O'Malley programmed stations in Baltimore and Washington, DC, with five years at WYNY/New York. 

Blake, who died Jan. 14, was voted into the Hall of Fame prior to her passing. She spent 12 years with Clear Channel before joining Curtis Media as PD of WQDR/Raleigh in 2002. She rose to VP/Radio in 2014. Under her direction, 'QDR won ACM and CMA Station of the Year awards, while she was named ACM Personality of the Year in 2013. 

Barrett, Fox & Berry celebrated their 20th anniversary with KKNU in September 2017. Together, the trio have raised more than $1 million a year for local charities and have taken home the ACM Small Market Personality of the Year award three times. They also have one CMA Personality of the Year award and three Marconi nominations. 

Andy & Alison spent 20 years waking up east Tennessee at WIVK/Knoxville. During their tenure, the duo won seven CMA Personality of the Year awards, three ACM Personality of the Year awards and two CRS Awards. 

Harmon & Evans began their careers in Charlotte before going country and heading to KPLX/Dallas, where they handled mornings for eight years. The duo won CMA, Billboard and Texas Country Music Assoc. Personality of the Year awards.
