As reported earlier via Breaking News, Max Media WGH/Norfolk Dir./Programming & Operations John Shomby is leaving after 13 years to become Dir./Programming for the Nash Network at Cumulus. He starts March 1 and can be reached for now here. "Bittersweet day here for sure," Max/Norfolk GM Dave Paulus tells Country Aircheck. "Thrilled for John and his family. He's a wonderful operations guy and will do great work for Cumulus, [but we're] sad to lose him out of our building." Shomby spent 13 years at WGH and the search for his replacement is underway.
