O Captain My Captain: As reported earlier via Breaking News, Alpha KUPL/Portland PD Joe "MoJoe" Roberts has been named Country Format Captain as the company appoints format-specific executives in nine categories. He'll continue to program KUPL. "We are always proud to promote from within Alpha," says EVP/Content Scott Mahalick of the new structure. "Our Format Captains have been carefully selected based on their experience, format expertise, reliability and performance."
