All About That Bass: iHeartMedia/Arkansas Area Pres. Clyde Bass has been named to the newly created position of Area Pres./Texas-Arkansas. His oversight will include non-PPM markets in both states, as well as Springfield, MO and Wichita, KS. "Clyde’s passion for our industry, his knowledge of our products and the success he has shown through many roles with iHeartMedia make him the perfect fit," says Division Pres. Nick Gnau, to whom Bass reports. The Texas markets were previously handled by Spencer Bynes, who was named Metro Pres./Atlanta last month (CAT 1/25). Bass had been in his most recent role since 2012 after stops with Cumulus and Duke Broadcasting in Jonesboro, AR.
