Harris & Cobb To UMGN

Mike Harris has re-joined the company as CEO. Concurrently, producer
Dave Cobb has been named Chief Creative Officer. "We see an incredible opportunity to expand our presence in Nashville and build upon our industry leading track record," says UMG Chairman/CEO
Sir Lucian Grainge. "The worldwide success of our country artists demonstrate that the genre truly has no boundaries and I’m excited for what lies ahead creatively and commercially." Harris departed UMGN last year (
CAT 9/4/24) after eight years, following three years at UMG's Caroline division and 15 with EMI. Cobb's production credits include nine Grammy awards. See full release
