Cat's Out Of The Bag: Lotus/Las Vegas Sales Asst./Board Op. Kira Smethers will join Cumulus WCTO/Allentown, PA for mornings alongside incumbent Sam Malone Feb. 15. She fills the vacancy created when Hannah Byrom resigned from The Cat Morning Crew in October (CAT 10/20/21). “I can’t wait for [Kira] to get out and start making new friends,” says OM/PD Jerry Padden. “Together with Sam, the Lehigh Valley will love starting their day with them, on-air and online.” Smethers’ prior experience includes more than a year with then-Entercom/Las Vegas as a member of the street team and a part-time on-air personality.
