Chronicle:
Songwriter Pat Bunch (a.k.a. Patricia Karen Bunch Price) passed away Jan. 30 at the age of 83. A native of Zanesville, OH, Bunch relocated to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career in the 1970s when she was nearing her 40th birthday. Among her most notable compositions to hit the Country charts are Restless Heart’s “I’ll Still Be Loving You,” Faith Hill’s “Wild One,” Ty Herndon’s “I Want My Goodbye Back” and “Living In A Moment,” Martina McBride’s “Safe In The Arms Of Love” and Chris Janson’s “Better I Don’t.” Other artists who cut Bunch’s songs include Lynn Anderson, Baillie & The Boys, BlackHawk, Suzy Bogguss, Terri Clark, Crystal Gayle, Steve Holy, John Michael Montgomery, Collin Raye and Kenny Rogers.
