May Day: Sinclair WTVC-TV/Chattanooga multimedia journalist Hanah May has joined Summit Country WCYQ/Knoxville for afternoons alongside PD/afternoon host Brian "Opie Joe" Creason. She succeeds Carina Patterson, who left last May after more than a decade (CAT 5/31/22). "Hanah is a strong communicator and team builder,” says Creason. “With her dynamic personality, East Tennessee is going to fall in love with her.” May is an East Tennessee native who graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2022 and previously spent four months as Asst./Promotions with the Summit/Knoxville cluster.
