Country Radio Hall of Fame 2025 inductees are, in the Radio category:
WOKQ/Portsmouth, NH's Ginny Rogers Brophey; veteran radio and label executive Clay Hunnicutt; and iHeart/Minneapolis' Gregg Swedberg.

Brophey made her name as APD/MD of WKLB/Boston and its predecessor WBCS for a total of 24 years, followed by another two years programming crosstown WBWL. She was named Brand Mgr./on-air personality/Content Creator for WOKQ in 2022 (CAT 2/17/22).
Hunnicutt's career started 35 years ago at WUSY/Chattanooga, where he rose from intern to OM. Multiple roles with Clear Channel/iHeartMedia included Dir./Programming for its Nashville and Atlanta clusters and EVP & GM/National Programming. Hunnicutt segued to the label side in 2015 with stops at Big Loud and BMLG.
Swedberg's career in Minneapolis included 10 years at Top 40 WLOL before he joined KEEY in 1991, eventually rising to PD, OM, SVP/Programming, Regional SVP/Programming and National Country Format Coord. for iHeartMedia. Swedberg is the longest-tenured active programmer for any Country station in a top 100 market.
Derek "Big D" Haskins and Sean "Bubba" Powell first paired for mornings at then-WXCT/Baton Rouge in 1996, and joined crosstown WYNK three years later where they began in syndication. The duo based out of WSIX/Nashville from 2003-2011. They formed production company Silverfish in 2014 and returned to the Nashville airwaves on WKDF in 2021. They’re the longest-running nationally syndicated morning show.
Holstead grew up in radio and spent time on the air in New Orleans and Oklahoma City before landing in Houston for a 17-year run in afternoons at KIKK and KILT. That was followed by mornings at KVOO/Tulsa, where he picked up the 2013 ACM Medium Market Personality award. Along the way, he launched the syndicated Original Country Gold with Rowdy Yates and now also hosts SuiteRadio's syndicated Rowdy Ride Home.
McCoy was recognized by Guinness as having the longest career ever for a female presenter, having started in 1951 at then-KMCO-AM/Conroe, TX. She is still on the air every day in the same city 74 years later. McCoy was inducted in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2010 and last year entered the National Radio Hall of Fame. She was profiled in the Country Aircheck fall print issue.
The inductees will be celebrated during the Country Radio Hall Of Fame Induction And Dinner July 21 at the Virgin Hotel Nashville.
