iHeartMedia/Cincinnati's Rachel Elliot has been named Dir./Country Programming for the company's Kentucky/West Virginia division, which includes WAMZ/Louisville, WBUL & Classic Country WBUL-HD2/Lexington, WSEK & Classic Country WSEK-AM/Somerset, and (WV) WTCR/Huntington, WOVK/Wheeling and WNUS/Parkersburg. Elliot previously served as Digital PD and air personality at Rock WEBN/Cincinnati, was an iHeartCustom national talent focusing on Country and Rock, and has a prior run as a Digital Host for Fox Sports. "Rachel’s lifelong passion for country music, unique multi-format perspective, positive energy and creativity make her a perfect fit to continue the success of our country brands across Kentucky and West Virginia," says Kristy Beebe, Area President/Kentucky, West Virginia & South Carolina. Adds Jordan, "Her creativity, drive and on-air background, coupled with her passion for content creation and engagement, perfectly positions her to lead these top performing country brands."

"Growing up on a sheep farm in upstate Ohio, country music has long been my passion," Elliot says. "I appreciate the team for allowing me to continue to learn and grow within a company I love, and trusting me with these iconic brands that I’ve admired for so long."
