Outlaw Country:
Radio FM Top 40 KLTA/Fargo, ND Brand Mgr./ morning host Jesse James has joined Cumulus KUBL/Salt Lake City in mornings. He fills the vacancy created by the departure of Lexi Papadopoulos and Jared “Banks” Danielson last month (CAT 1/20). "As we continue to build something special here at 93.3 The Bull, we are looking to add difference makers to our team," says PD Travis Daily. "I honestly don’t know which is bigger, Jesse’s talent or his creativity, but it’s going to be awesome to find out.” Adds James, "I can’t thank the entire Cumulus team enough for this incredible opportunity to return to my first love, which is Country radio." The search continues for a co-host for James (Gig Alert), who will debut on the station in mid-March. The move marks a return to the format for James, who previously hosted mornings on KWOF/Denver and KCYY/San Antonio. Reach him here. Country Aircheck Weekly spoke with the father-son duo of James and KAJA/San Antonio PD Alek Halverson in 2020 here.
