Rainey Days And Wednesdays: Former iHeartMedia KBQI/Albuquerque PD/afternoon personality Bev Rainey has crossed the street as Cumulus KRST PD/mornings March 4. She takes over day-to-day programming responsibilities from OM Kris Abrams (CAT 3/5/19). Rainey will be on-air weekdays from 9am-noon as Bobby G shifts to noon-3pm and Juan Velasco moves to the 3-7pm slot. "With KRST back in the top five P25-54, adding Bev to the talented team of market vets...[and] having her at the helm of KRST will only further solidify its dominance," says Abrams. Rainey spent 22 years with the iHeart/Albuquerque cluster before exiting in April (CAT 4/15/19).
