Country Lookin' Good: CRS 2024 opened this morning (2/28) with the "Y'all Means All: Diversity Matters" breakfast, where the themes included trusting the audience, letting them see themselves in all kinds of artists and putting music first. "With fans, you just have to give them patience," said Back Blocks/Big Loud's Lily Rose. "They just want to be moved [by] a good song." Shifting demographics were also discussed. "Everywhere you go in this country, it's about to become majority Latino," said Stoney Creek's Frank Ray. "Also on that note, I've been in the middle of Mississippi in a dive bar with taxidermy all over the place, we're playing 'Streetlights,' and you see Billy Bob over there in his bib overalls with a dip in his mouth going, 'I like this shit.'"
