Fit For A Kingsley: KCCS Productions Pres. Nan Kingsley has donated the personal archival collection documenting the late National and Country Radio Hall of Famer Bob Kingsley’s six-decades-long career to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (CMHoF) Frist Library and Archive. “Bob’s mission was to help preserve this music’s legacy and advocate for its future,” says Nan. “I am proud to bring this collection to its rightful home.” The donation includes the Kingsleys’ audio collection comprising more than 700 fully produced Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 shows as well as 3,200 interviews conducted with artists and country music influencers spanning nearly five decades. Bob passed away in 2019 at the age of 80 following a battle with bladder cancer (CAT 10/17/19). Nan Kingsley and the museum's Brenda Colladay discuss the collection in tonight’s (3/1) Country Aircheck Weekly, with Nan revealing "the one thing Bob would never surrender."
