Orlando Magic: Cox WWKA/Orlando midday host Melissa Quinones has added MD duties and moves to afternoons while afternoon personality Zakk Slater shifts to mornings alongside incumbent Obie Diaz and recently named co-host Chloe Nelson (CAT 2/14). Concurrently, News-Talk sister WDBO morning producer Jay Edwards has been named WWKA midday host. “The entire team represents the passion, culture and spirit of Orlando,” says Cox Dir./Country Content and Orlando Dir./Programming & WWKA PD Steve Stewart. It is a return to mornings for Slater, who previously served as morning co-host/producer/midday talent before moving to afternoons in 2019 during a lineup change that moved Quinones from nights to middays (CAT 10/23/19).
