WSJR Moves To WCTO Simulcast
Wilkes Whiskers: Cumulus WSJR/Wilkes-Barre, PA has switched from "Nash FM" to a simulcast of sister "Cat Country" WCTO/Allentown. Additionally in Wilkes-Barre, sister Top 40 WBHD, which had simulcast WBHT, has switched to join the WCTO simulcast. WCTO was already simulcasting on WWYY/Stroudsburg, PA in the southeastern portion of the Wilkes-Barre market. No staff was displaced as a result of the moves. The Wilkes-Barre simulcast will air separate commercials. WSJR had been "Nash FM" since 2013, and was previously branded as "JR 93.7." Coverage map shows WCTO (red), WWYY (orange), WSJR (blue) and WBHD (green).
