Wilkes Whiskers: Cumulus WSJR/Wilkes-Barre, PA has switched from "Nash FM" to a simulcast of sister "Cat Country" WCTO/Allentown. Additionally in Wilkes-Barre, sister Top 40 WBHD, which had simulcast WBHT, has switched to join the WCTO simulcast. WCTO was already simulcasting on WWYY/Stroudsburg, PA in the southeastern portion of the Wilkes-Barre market. No staff was displaced as a result of the moves. The Wilkes-Barre simulcast will air separate commercials. WSJR had been "Nash FM" since 2013, and was previously branded as "JR 93.7."
