KC & The Sunshine State: Beasley WQYK/Tampa weekend host Kevin "KC" Cummings has been named afternoon host. He succeeds "Mo On The Radio," who departed in November (CAT 11/14/23). “After a comprehensive nationwide search and meeting some great talent, we realized that the best person for the job was right here in our building,” says PD Rick Thomas. “KC lives and breathes the contemporary country lifestyle." Cummings previously spent 22 years in nights, then afternoons, at sister Rhythmic WLLD under the name "Stiffy."
