Garrison To Cox/San Antonio: CBS Radio VP/Country Artist Relations, CBS/Radio/Phoenix OM and KMLE/Phoenix PD Jeff Garrison has been named OM for Cox/San Antonio and PD of Country KCYY. A 17-year veteran of CBS Radio, Garrison was VP/Country for the company from 2002 to 2010 and segued to his most recent post in 2011. He starts April 1 and replaces Randy Chase, who left Cox last month (CAW 2/19).

"Jeff and I worked together in one of the biggest monster Country battles in the early 2000s, where KMLE took out legendary KNIX with an all-star lineup,” Cox Dir./Programming Steve Smith says. “It's so great to be reunited with Jeff again and I’m confident we’ll have the same success in San Antonio."
