Hot Air: No official word, but Curb Records SVP/Promotion RJ Meacham is stepping down at the end of the month as he pursues a new venture. He is expected to continue to consult the label, which plans to announce updates to its promotion department leadership structure next week. Meacham joined Curb for a second time in 2016, and rose from National Dir./Promotion & Chart Strategy to VP two years later and to SVP in 2021 (Breaking News 1/18/21). Prior stops include Monument/Sony, Curb/Asylum, BNA and Columbia. His first stint with Curb was from 2004-07.
