Blythe Leaves UMGN: UMG/Nashville EVP/A&R
Chelsea Blythe is departing the label group today (3/14) for a return to California. In a
social media post, she called the UMGN job "an opportunity of a lifetime to come to Nashville and live out my wildest dreams. Country music is so special to me, and I will forever be grateful as I have so many incredible memories here that I'll never forget." Blythe joined UMGN in 2023 from the SVP/A&R role at Def Jam (
CAT 5/25/23). Prior to Def Jam, Blythe served in A&R roles with Columbia and Interscope. No word on plans for the position.
