No official word, but rumored iHeartMedia restructuring may be behind at least two departures. SVPP/Columbia, SC LJ Smith, whose oversight included Country WCOS, and iHeartMedia/Huntsville SVPP and WDRM PD Erich West have exited. Those departures follow yesterday's exit of WGAR/Cleveland APD/mornings Steve Wazz (CAT 3/14).

Prior to joining then-Clear Channel in 2002, Smith spent six years as a consultant with Broadcast Programming. West joined his cluster from iHeartMedia/Macon in 2006 and took over WDRM programming in 2017 (CAT 11/27/17). Reach him at 256-656-3086 and here. No word on plans for either position.
