Kick The Dust Upped: As reported via Breaking News, MCA/Nashville VP/Promotion Miranda McDonald and Mercury VP/Promotion Jimmy Rector have been promoted to SVPs/Promotion & Regional Marketing. In their expanded roles, McDonald and Rector will continue leading national Country radio strategy while also overseeing regional marketing initiatives. McDonald joined then-UMGN in 2012 and transitioned to MCA/Nashville as VP in 2024 (3/7/24). Rector also joined in 2012 and rose to VP that same year (10/26/12). They took the reins of their restructured teams and rosters last year with the UMGN to MCA rebranding (4/25/25).
