Music Health Alliance's Shelia Shipley Biddy To Retire
Biddy Adieu: After 50 years in the music business, the last 13 with Music Health Alliance (MHA), Chief Administrative Officer/Certified Senior Advisor Shelia Shipley Biddy will be retiring March 27. Her career included stints at Monument, RCA and MCA (the latter as SVP/Promotion) before being named SVP/GM for Decca, becoming the first woman to helm a major Nashville label. She also worked as an artist manager, served as Pres. of two indie labels – Stringtown Records and Flying Island Entertainment – and joined MHA in 2013. Shipley Biddy is a member of the Source Hall of Fame, an organization she co-founded in 1991. A retirement party is being planned for May 5. Reach Biddy here through her retirement date.
