CRS Panel: Country Goes Global
Baggage Claim: Seizing country music's worldwide appeal was the theme during the "Pack Your Bags: Country's Gone Global" panel as CRS '26 got underway in full Wednesday (3/18) at the Omni Nashville. Amazon Music's Michelle Tigard Kammerer shared she's seen a 75% increase in streaming in the U.K., where country listeners are averaging 55 hours of streaming per month. Live Nation's Milly Olykan said outside of the U.K., Canada and Australia, "We're seeing Europe start to develop, [including] Norway, Sweden and Denmark." Make Wake's Chris Kappy detailed the investment his client Luke Combs made, including being willing to play smaller venues at greater expense, on the way to arena and stadium success.
