Connoisseur Goes Country On Long Island

Connoisseur Media flipped Classic Hits WBZO/Nassau-Suffolk to Country as WWWF "103.1 The Wolf" at 10:31am ET this morning (3/20). "After months of extensive research, and looking at artist trends, we know there is an open lane for Long Island to have its own Country music radio station that reaches both Nassau and Suffolk counties," says COO/MM David Bevins. The station is currently operating jockless and without a PD. Interested parties can contact Bevins here.

WWWF operates with 1,550 watts from the middle of Long Island. The market's other Country outlet, JVC Media's WJVC, is situated on the eastern end of the island with 2,650 watts. February 2024 Nielsen PPM ratings for Nassau-Suffolk, WBZO ranked 15th with a 2.4 share and a cume of 213,900; WJVC does not subscribe. Stream WWWF here.
