WWWF Debuts
Long Island Howl: As reported earlier via Breaking News, Connoisseur Media flipped Classic Hits WBZO/Nassau-Suffolk to Country as WWWF "103.1 The Wolf" at 10:31am ET this morning (3/20). Positioned as "Long Island's Country," the first song was Randy Houser's "How Country Feels." OM Patrick Shea is looking for the station's first PD/afternoon host; send résumé and a two-minute demo to him here.
JVC Media's WJVC covers the eastern end of the island, but the rest of the market has been without a Country outlet since the demise of WNSH/New York in Oct. 2021 (CAT 10/22/21). Stream WWWF here.
