Take A Spin: Entercom and CBS Radio have collectively identified more than 40 potential stations to be included in a divestiture trust for eventual spin off as the two companies merge (Breaking News 2/2). Possible Entercom Country spinoffs are KKWF/Seattle, KSOQ/Escondido, CA and WGGI/Wilkes-Barre-Scranton. Potential CBS Radio spinoffs are KMPS/Seattle and KNCI/Sacramento. Fourteen stations will be put into the trust, a decision that will be made prior to the merger's close.

Also today, Entercom named Richard J. Schmaeling EVP/CFO effective April 18. He succeeds Steve Fisher, who is stepping down April 30 though will assist with the CBS Radio integration through January 2018.
